We use some of the NLB material to record 5 minute devotionals that get broadcast at 5.50 on weekday mornings.

This is one of the of out association with SA Correctional Ministries,

Recoding at Ratio Pulpit is Machona (left), Tebogo (below) and myself.

They are both preachers in the Pretoria.  This was their first visit to a radio station and quite an experience.

We also had a training session in Potchefstroom.
Talking to delegates during lunch.

On a visit to the Frankfort prison where we met Prudence Tsitetsi the religious coordinator.  What a talent.  She organised the Certificate Presentation event.

What was so outstanding about the occasion was that she also invited local leaders like the school principle, church leaders, hospital staff, and the parent of inmates to the ceremony.

Drinking tee is Shawn Mofokeng NLB instructor at Frankfort.

A training session for spiritual workers in the Vereeniging region.

In the North West province we met with Josiah and Cynthia.  Josiah is an ex-offender who was very active in the Boksburg prison church before his release.  After his release he began a community building project that focuses on the children and youth in the rural area where he lives.

Cynthia, a college graduate, helps him with the administration of the organisation.

Studying a draft busyness plan I drew up for them.

2006-2007 ANNUAL REPORT

The activities of New Life Behaviour Ministries for this year mainly revolved round three major aspects: (1) promoting the NLB program, (2) recruiting volunteers and training them to become instructors to teach the behavioural skills curriculum in prisons in South Africa, and (3) assimilation information with regard to the Recidivism rate in Correctional Centres.

The deferent objectives were achieved mainly through (1) the Quality Assurance and endorsement the NLB program and service as received from the Department of Correctional Services (November 2, 2006), (2) workshop and training session NLBM were involved in, and (3) feedback we received form our national task groups.
