Every ministry has an origin. Skillman Church of Christ in Dallas, TX has form many years been the basis of NLBM international. The Maypearl Church of Christ , The Mayperl TX, Bell Shoals FL, and Hillsboro TN churches of Christis a great contributor to the work in South Africa. Many members of the Benoni Church of Christ in South Africa has also been involved in Prison Ministry and NLBM.

Gospel Chariot Mission (GCM)

This evangelistic initiative was started by George Funk in 1994. GCM make use of tracks to visit rural areas, not only in South Africa, but also in neighbouring countries to spread the Gospel.
One Nation Under God (ONUG)
International Bible School

A product of International Bible School, Dr. Roger Dickson designed the ONUG lesson to share a basics understanding of salvation. Many inmate student s have benefited from courses such as: Handling Anger, The Problem With Sin, God’s Solution For Sin, Taking Advantage Of God’s Grace, and Obedience to the Gospel. |

Many of the students who have graduated for this institution are using the NLB courses in their ministries to teach marriage skill, parenting matters and other family related values. An introduction to prison ministry is also taught to 1st year student as part of their Personal Evangelism course.

World Bible School (WBS)

Situated in Austen Texas, WBS has bible study correspondence student all over the globe. More then 2000 of these are inmate students in South Africa. Some lesson tiles are: God has spoken, Knowing Jesus, Born of Water and the Spirit, This is Good News, The family of God
In August 2005, NLBM and WBS joined forces. WBS inmate student who have completed the course, will now be able to continue doing the NLB curriculum through the same facilitators. |
